Women's Media Center Progressive Women's Voices is the premier media and leadership training program serving women in our country and will help you master effective interview presentation techniques and improve your skills to serve as thought leaders in the media. In 2019, there will two WMC Progressive Women's Voices trainings, both in Washington DC. The first training will start at 5.00 p.m. on Friday, May 17 and end at 5.00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19. The second training will start at 5.00 p.m. on Friday, June 7 and finish at 5.00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9. Successful candidates will attend only one of the weekends. The training is supported by the Women's Media Center and is provided at no cost to those who are accepted. Participants are expected to organize and cover the cost of their own transportation and accommodation, although there will be a small number of stipends available to successful candidates who would otherwise not be able to attend the training.  WMC Progressive Women's Voices training is not designed for those holding, or hoping to hold, elected public office.

The application deadline is midnight PST Sunday March 10 and the 2019 class will be announced on/around Monday April 1.
